DFCTC offers free career training to young adults in the Twin-Cities community who are ready to master the Customer Experience.

DFCTC’s Customer Experience program is a free, eight‑week workforce development initiative designed to prepare young adults in the Twin Cities for high‑demand careers in Customer Experience. Students receive hands‑on training in the skills and knowledge required to excel as Customer Service professionals and graduate fully prepared for call center and customer support roles across multiple industries.
Classes are held at the Historic Westside School inside the DFCTC Opportunity Center, where learners benefit from a supportive environment, experienced instructors, and real‑world practice that builds confidence and job‑readiness.
Participants immerse themselves in:

Professionalism and workplace readiness

Call center tools, workflows, and best practices

Realistic scenarios and hands‑on practice
Graduates complete the program job‑ready, equipped with the skills employers look for in Customer Experience roles.
Who Should Apply
Motivated students who meet the following requirements are encouraged to apply:

18–26 years old

A high school graduate (or equivalent)

Not currently holding a Bachelor’s degree

Interested in technology and customer service

Able to commit to classes Monday–Friday, 9 AM–3 PM, for the full 8‑week program
