Work at Diversified Community Tech Center
DFCTC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping other nonprofits use technology to better serve their communities. We help mission‑driven organizations plan, implement, and use modern technology tools to achieve their goals. With offices in the Twin Cities, we have supported thousands of national and international nonprofits since 2008.
Our clients range from small teams of five to large organizations with more than 600 members. Most operate on Windows‑based systems and Microsoft cloud technologies, and rely on Tech Impact for strategic guidance, implementation, cybersecurity, and ongoing IT support.
In addition to delivering high‑quality technical services, DFCTC operates workforce development programs that equip young adults with in‑demand skills for careers in IT. Through programs such as IT‑Works, CX‑Works, Punch‑Code, and Smart‑Code, we help students earn certifications, gain hands‑on experience, and build the confidence needed to secure meaningful employment in the technology sector.
Together, Tech Impact and DFCTC strengthen nonprofits, expand digital opportunity, and build a more equitable, tech‑empowered community.
Equal Opportunity Employment
As an equal opportunity employer, DFCTC embraces diversity and is committed to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and equitable workplace. We do not discriminate in employment on the basis of age, race, color, creed, sex, gender identity, religion, marital status, veteran status, national origin, disability, or sexual orientation.
We believe that a diverse team strengthens our mission and enhances our ability to serve the community with excellence.
Volunteer Opportunities
DFCTC is actively seeking dedicated volunteers to support our programs and operations as positions become available. Volunteers play a vital role in expanding access to high‑quality technology education and strengthening the impact we make across the Twin Cities.
